Every River Needs a Champion

The Mohawk Valley Trout Unlimited Chapter is hosting a MVTU River Keepers Introduction to Stream Monitoring Event on the Sauquoit Creek at Pietryka Park on Tuesday May 12 starting at 5:30 PM.

Note due to power line issues at Dunham Manor Park, the event will now be held at Pietryka Park in New York Mills.

Learn about what's involved with the MVTURK monthly stream monitoring program. If you have already volunteered, feel free to attend this on stream workshop. We are looking for additional volunteers to survey their favorite local stream once a month from May to October.
