Our chapter gathering in October will focus on Trout in the Classroom. Trout in the Classroom is one of the MVTU's principal programs and has been growing over the past few years. We are adding several new classrooms in 2026-27 in addition to the Utica Children's Museum. There will be a presentation on the TIC cirriculum, updates on current and new classes and the annual schedule. This is a great opportunity learn more about TIC and to see if you would be interested in participating as a volunteer.

We will also be holding our officer and director elections for 2026-27. The slate of candidates will be published on the website and in the newsletter. If you wish to nominate a person or volunteer yourself please email mohawkvalleytu@gmail.com.
