Join us at 69 Steakhouse for the first in our new "Learn a Local River" series. A project devoted to learning more about regional cold water fishing opportunities and issues in the Mohawk Valley, southern Adirondacks, and Tug Hill regions.
This month will be an evening all about "The West Canada". The talk by our own Bob Janiga will provide information on what to expect while fishing this local watershed including access, stream conditions through the seasons, hatches, suggested patterns, history and conservation issues.
Following the presentation there will be an opportunity for open discussion and input from attendees. The whole evening will be devoted to this important local beautiful river.
Come early for a delicious bite to eat, refreshments, and to meet new local TU members. The meeting starts at 6:30. Presentations follow brief remarks and updates from the chapter.
These monthly gatherings are a great way to meet fellow anglers and conservationists, learn about issues affecting our local waters and upcoming TU activities, as well as comparing notes with other fishermen.
Be sure to check out our website at www.mohawkvalleytu.org to find more events. Future "Learn a Local River" events will feature the Mohawk River, Fish Creek, Black River, Oriskany, East Canada, and Adirondack watersheds.
