Missouri Ozarks Chapter Monthly Meeting- DIY Steelhead and More……Accessible Great Lakes Adventures

A chance viewing of a Rosenbauer/Flagler YouTube video completely changed our DIY steelhead plans.  Instead of heading straight north as do most, we veered to the east to…Pennsylvania!  That first season we returned four times, fishing steelies from the very first run to the last of the season.  Come hear about the places, the people, frustrations, successes, defeats, lake effect weather, lessons learned, and the laughs along the way on lakes Erie & Ontario.

Wayne Essary, Deb Hall, Sammy Stovall & Jim Lekrone are local fly fishing nuts, members of  various fly clubs, and are always up for an adventure involving a fly rod and big fish.  In this group we have a former fly shop guy, a former SMFF board member, several talented tyers, and not least, we have stories.
