Mill River Fishing Trip - Tailwater Trout in Winter

MILL RIVER FISHING TRIP SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20 at 10 a.m.

 

Have a great day doing some social distance fishing with friends on the states best native and wild trout stream - the Mill River in Easton and Fairfield!

In February, we're almost guaranteed a strong hatch of early brown and black stoneflies - and the trout are sure to take notice too!

 

Join us in the parking lot of the Covenant Church of Easton at 1 Sport Hill Road off Exit 46 on the Merritt to briefly catch up with old friends through masks and from a distance then split up and head off to the river. If you've never fished the Mill River before, we'll provide information for tackling this incredible wild trout tailwater.

Even if you just want to stop by to say hi, or take a walk along the river to learn where to fish in the spring, you're more than welcome to join us.

All Mianus Chapter events are open to the public - feel free to bring friends and fishing buddies.

Due to Covid-19 precautions, all participants are asked to wear a mask and socially distance in parking and congregate areas and to remain at least a rod's length apart while out on the water.
