Michigan anglers, paddlers, and outdoor enthusiasts: We need your help to collect valuable data on our Shared Priority Waters! Join us for a training on the RIVERS App to learn how to become an effective citizen scientist and help further TU's work in Michigan.
We are looking to harness the on-the-ground knowledge of Michigan outdoor recreators to learn more about our Shared Priority Waters identified by TU chapters, the Michigan TU Council, and TU staff. The RIVERS mobile
application is a convenient way for volunteers to collect data and map
disturbances while fishing or conducting a watershed inventory. This basic
information is available on an online interactive map that can be used to
prioritize protection and restoration projects. If you’d
like to help identify potential projects in Michigan TU’s Shared Priority
Waters please plan on attending this training!
