VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Join us for a fun morning restoring the Mianus River!
We’ll be installing conifer revetments, structures made from “eco-cycled” Christmas trees to stabilize eroding streambank and create edge habitat for trout in the river. No special skills are needed.
Anyone age 8 to 80 can pitch in and we’ll have a job for you.
We’ll provide all materials and equipment. Volunteers should wear waders, boots or water shoes and anticipate getting in the water (if they want - there will be land-based tasks too).
