Mianus River Pool Construction - Volunteer Workday

Come cool off in the Mianus River! Nothing beats getting your feet wet building trout habitat on a hot summers day! During the low flow periods of summer, our local trout rely on low water structures to make it through the hottest summer months. Help us move some rocks, construct riffles, and improve the pool habitat! 

These types of events are fun for the whole family. All you need is a good pair of boots, gloves, and plenty of water! We will provide some hand tools like crow bars to help dislodge some larger rocks. All of these structures are designed and permitted, all we need is your help to make it happen!
