ABOUT OUR SPEAKER: MIKE PENA
Mike Peña has been fly-fishing for over 40 years and tying for over twenty-five years. He enjoys still water in the spring/early summer (especially with chironomids), rivers in the summer/fall/winter and occasional salt trips. Mike is known for his adventurous spirit, often venturing into rugged, remote terrain in pursuit of truly trophy-sized fish. Mike is also on the Cortland fly Line Pro Staff.
Mike also enjoys photography and has special expertise in capturing gorgeous pictures of trophy fish. The compositions of his photos are memorable, capturing the character of the fisherman, and the beauty of the setting and the catch. Mike is deeply committed to the fly-fishing community, always eager to share his technical expertise and learn from fellow anglers.
