The deep, cold lakes of Maine offer some of the last refuges of unique native trout and salmonid in the continental U.S. Among them are some incredible landlocked Atlantic Salmon being recovered in Sebago Lake and the famed giant Brook Trout lurking in the depths of Moosehead Lake. Join Jeff Reardon, TU’s Maine Brook Trout Project Director, as he welcomes Tim Obrey, Regional Fisheries Supervisor, and Jim Pellerin, Regional Fisheries Biologist, both experts from the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife, to share their decades of study on these fish. Along with some incredible information and footage, you’ll hear how TU and our partners are working to care for and recover these incredibly rare and unique native fish.
