LRCTU Monthly Chapter Meeting - Guest Speakers Ryan Burcham and Nathan Roddy

Our October meeting will include two local experts in physical therapy and athletic training.  Ryan Burcham and Nathan Roddy will be presenting “Casting Without the Catch”, a presentation designed to provide information over common injuries experienced by anglers and how to better understand the mechanisms of injury. We will cover why these aches and pains can occur and provide insight into the management of the conditions including both “prehab” exercises to perform prior to activity/injury and what we do as healthcare professionals to address these issues. We hope that this presentation can help you all stay safe and fishing for longer.

Catch up with fellow members during our social hour around which begins around 6 pm. Cash bar or non-alcoholic tea, cokes, etc.  If you want dinner, just order from the bar.  Presentations begin around 7 PM.
