Our guest speaker for our September meeting is Justin Wolbert, a Fisheries Biologist with Tennessee Valley Authority. Justin will be discussing the Lake Sturgeon Restoration Project in the Tennessee and Cumberland Rivers. The presentation will discuss the past, present, and future of Lake Sturgeon restoration in Tennessee. Justin’s responsibilities include monitoring fish and aquatic insect communities, community outreach programs, managing the reservoir benthics program across the Tennessee River Valley.

Catch up with fellow members during our social hour around which begins around 6 pm. Cash bar or non-alcoholic tea, cokes, etc. If you want dinner, just order from the bar. Presentations begin around 7 PM.
