Upcoming Chapter Event - June 26 (4th Thursday of the month) at Blue Tick Tavern in Maryville
Dr. Ben Fitzpatrick of The University of Tennessee Ecology and Evolutionary Biology lab will discuss Brook Trout genetics. He is working together with the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Fisheries (Matt Kulp) and our Chapter to complete Brook Trout genetic analyses on 8 Tennessee stream segments that had not been genotyped within GSMNP. This latest round of genetic analyses is supported by the TN TU Council Conservation Grant Program.
Our Chapter events are open to members (old and new), guests, and community members.
Social hour starts at 6:00, program starts at 7:00, business meeting follows.
Ordering from the menu will be in the meeting room from 6:00 to 6:30. After 6:30 you will need to order any food at the bar. Adult beverages must be ordered and paid at the bar.
A brief business meeting will follow the evening's program presentation.
