Our Learn a Local River series takes you on a virtual tour of our home waters. These presentations are designed to help you discover the streams in your own backyard and highlight some of the work we're doing to make them even better!
This installment focuses on the Norwalk River in Ridgefield, Wilton, and Norwalk. The Norwalk River has unparalleled public access and is home to several conservation successes. In the last five years, the Norwalk River has seen several dam removals on the mainstem and tributaries, two massive habitat restoration projects, and is quickly transforming into a great wild trout stream.
Chapter Zoom presentations are free and open to the public. Share these learning opportunities with friends, family, colleagues and anyone who cares about the health of our local waters. Register to get the link!
