The Greenback Cutthroat Trout is a species of cutthroat that once inhabited high alpine streams throughout the South Platte Basin. The cutthroat trout in Bear Creek are the only remaining greenback cutthroat that share the genetically pure fingerprint with specimens collected in the late 1800s from across the South Platte Basin. Come hear the latest on the efforts to recover the greenback cutthroat trout.
