Juniors Fishing Derby at the Graeagle Mill Pond

The annual Juniors Fishing Derby, a favorite activity of the Feather River Chapter of Trout Unlimited will be on held on Saturday, May 16th from 7 am to noon.

This derby is the Season Opener for Feather River Trout Unlimited. We receive support from California Department of Fish and Wildlife; their stocking makes this event possible. The chapter appreciates Graeagle Land and Water for their efforts to tidy up for the Season opener and use the Millpond and we also receive support from local businesses, Gumbas 2 Go, Little Bear RV Park, The Graeagle Frostee, The Cheeseburger Team and the Graeagle Store makes sure we have plenty of Worms.  FRTU also receives assistance from the Plumas County Fish and Wildlife Commission and Mt. Ace Hardware

Bring your whole family in addition to your rods and tackle box.  Trout Unlimited will supply a limited amount of fishing gear and bait for use by junior anglers who have yet to collect their own.
