June Fly Fishing Outing at East Portal

Join GGA board member Claire Barker at East Portal in Black Canyon National Park on Thursday June 11th from 4 p.m. until dark. East Portal Road is the only way to drive to the bottom of the Black Canyon, and it is a technical tailwater fishery with tons of big, healthy bows and browns. Join us for fishing, fish stories, grilled hot dogs, and cold beer. 

 

Fees required for entry into Black Canyon National Park. We recommend carpooling from Montrose as there is limited parking in the main fishing area. Meet in the main parking lot near the campground.
