January Gathering - Two Great Stories

January 2026 Gathering --- Join us at 6:00pm at the Elks Lodge to catch up with friends, meet new members and guests, and treat yourself to a beverage.

We'll have a short chapter business meeting beginning at 6:30pm and then turn the evening over to two Rhode Island avid outdoorsmen -

Corey Pelletier, Rhode Island DEM Fish & Wildlife Principal Biologist and RITU partner on all of our stream restoration projects will discuss the removal of Sweet Pond Dam in December, 2025, and 

Harper Nelson, who studies fisheries and aquaculture at the University of Rhode Island and has worked with RIDEM Fish & Wildlife as a fisheries researcher and on aquatic research education will present his experience "Drifting through southeast British Columbia."
