Ithaca’s Iron Fly II

 Join us as we host Ithaca’s second Iron Fly. Iron Fly is not about how great a tyer you are. It is a way to meet other tyers, have fun, and recognize that fly fishing is not a tired, old, stuffy, way to spend time. The Iron Fly is fly tying meets Iron Chef, as tyers "compete" in a battle of thread and bobbin prowess to make the ultimate fish snack from the same set of mystery ingredients. Race against your competitors, and the challenge of the ingredients, to show the panel of judges that your vise has the spice. There will be several events going on during the Iron Fly. Participate in one, or all, or even none. There will be prizes available for (almost) everyone who participates. Come on down, meet new people, and enjoy the company of the local fly-fishing community.

The event will be held at Salt Point Brewery located at 6 Louise Bement Lane, Lansing. New York.  There is plenty of parking on site, and a wide variety of adult, and non-adult, beverages to sample and excellent food. The games are free to join.
