Our first session of the Intro to Shore Fishing clinic on June 8th sold out quickly so we are pleased to add a second session on June 7th! Board member Kara Hayhurst will be running the trip with Brian Gilbert, professional fly fishing guide.
We can accommodate 8 anglers on this trip. We will go over basic rod and reel set up, knots, flies, casting instruction and line management then enjoy an amazing fishing experience from the shore. The cost is $150 per person - which is a discounted price for our group! (usually $250-300 per person). The cost is to cover the guide fee.
Recommended gear: 8-10 weight rod with intermediate line and a stripping basket. Rods can be provided on request but we recommend bringing your own so that Brian can help you learn how to prepare and fish with your own gear! Waders are recommended to keep you warm and comfortable while fishing.
Please note that there is a 15-20 minute scenic walk from the parking lot to where we will be fishing.
