Join Betsy and Diane (both trained at the Wulff School of Fly Fishing) to learn about the basics of fly fishing and get a chance to get experience on the river. No fishing experience is necessary. You will learn about the components of a fly fishing rod, learn about a couple of types of fly fishing flies, and how to do a roll cast.
You don't need to bring anything!! We do suggest that you wear comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting a little wet. If you have river shoes that would be great. A hat and sunglasses might make you feel more comfortable but they are not necessary. We will be on a gravel beach for this event.
Bring your own water bottle, we will have herbal tea available as well.
