Eagle Bridge,

There's nothing better than joining friends and neighbors to take care of a river we all love!
Join TU's Home Waters Chapter and Rensselaer Land Trust on Saturday, April 23 from 9am-1pm for a collaborative tree planting event on the Hoosic River in Eagle Bridge, NY. The Rensselaer Land Trust was founded in 1987 and has protected over 1,000 acres in Rensselaer County. Trout Unlimited and RLT share similar missions to conserve open spaces, watersheds, and other natural habitats of Rensselaer County for the benefit of our communities and future generations.
Tree planting events are a great way to engage the entire family - so bring out your kids and grandkids and help teach them the importance of working together as a community to care for and recover our rivers and streams.
We'll have some tools available, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves and shovels. Water and Snacks will be provided.
