Details
The Lake Champlain Trout Unlimited chapter is hosting a film screening focused on the Atlantic salmon, the Saranac River, and river connectivity in northern New York.
The program will feature three short films from Hooké, along with an introduction by Hooké founder Fred Campbell. We are also working to include a speaker from the Atlantic Salmon Federation.
The films and discussion will connect broader Atlantic salmon conservation efforts to local conditions on the Saranac River, including ongoing conversations in the community about the Imperial Dam and its role in salmon migration and river health.
This event is open to anyone interested in coldwater fisheries, river restoration, and conservation of the North Country.
