Holiday Gathering and Monthly Meeting of the Hammonasset Chapter #446, Trout Unlimited, Inc.

Join us for a Holiday Gathering and December Chapter meeting on Wednesday, December 14, 2023.  The event will be held at VFW Post 7666,104 Mill Rd, Guilford, CT 06437, starting at 6:00 p.m.. Spouses and guests are welcome and encouraged to attend. A buffet dinner will be served prior to the meeting.  A silent action will also be held.  Cost is $20.00 per person (plus transaction fees for online payment).  Cash will be accepted at the door. 

Our Guest Speaker will be Ben Bilello, who will present his program on Traditional Techniques for Broodstock Atlantic Salmon. 

For anglers in and around Connecticut, broodstock Atlantic salmon fishing is one most reliable ways to catch a large fish in fresh water. For anglers who fish for sea-run Atlantic salmon in Canada or Europe, the broodstock fishery is a good way to practice presentation close to home and for a minimal investment. For anglers new to Atlantic salmon fishing, this fishery is a great way to learn the techniques used to catch Atlantic salmon around the world.
