🎣 September Chapter Meeting: Historic Flies with Benjamin Horn
Join the Appalachian Chapter of Trout Unlimited on Thursday, September 17 at 6:00 PM at the Hubert Fry Center for a special presentation from young fly tyer and angler Benjamin Horn.
At just 14 years old, Benjamin is already an accomplished and passionate fly tyer. He began tying flies at age 10 and has been tying nearly every day since. His passion for the history of fly fishing has led him to research historic patterns, traditional tying techniques, and the use of natural materials.
Benjamin has even turned that passion into his own business, It’ll Fish Fly Company, specializing in historic fly patterns tied with natural materials.
During the evening, Benjamin will share the story behind his business, talk about his interest in historic flies, and give a live fly-tying demonstration featuring a historic pattern.
