Roll up your sleeves, grab some gloves and a shovel, and lend a helping hand to the Harpeth River.
Join staff from Trout Unlimited and Tractor Supply Company as well as volunteers from the Music City Chapter of Trout Unlimited for a special Plant for Our Future event to remove invasive species and plant native trees along the banks of the Harpeth River at Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin, TN.
Just minutes from downtown Nashville, the Harpeth River offers a scenic escape from the city to enjoy trout fishing and relaxation. But the river needs our help.
Thanks to Tractor Supply Company, TU is playing a part in helping with their sustainability initiative which has a goal to conserve 25 million gallons of water by 2025, Together, we're planting trees at hundreds of locations across the country and you can be a part of making a difference as we all do our best to be Stewards of Life Out Here!
Following the planting, we'll enjoy a streamside lunch and fly casting out on the pond.
All equipment will be provided. Volunteers encouraged to wear boots and long sleeves and pants.
