Join our partners from the Portland Parks Conservancy for a fun and informative invasive species removal and training. We’ll hear how various groups in the city are working together to combat the invasive species threatening the native flora and fauna, and get our hands dirty making a difference by pulling out invasives like bittersweet, multi-floral rose and more. Sweeping views of Casco Bay from the East End Promenade trail and cooling ocean breezes will make for a pleasant morning of work restoring a special coastal habitat and greenway. Free shuttle from Holiday Inn by the Bay or municipal ay parking lot available.
