Guest Speaker - Ron Belak

Ron will speak about fly fishing high mountain lakes within 90minutes of Evergreen, including locations in the James Peak, Indian Peaks and Mount Blue Sky Wilderness Areas and in the Ten-Mile and Mosquito Ranges.

 

Most of these lakes are accessible by hiking 2 to 5 miles on well-maintained trails, and they offer good fishing for cutthroats, brookies and the occasional tiger trout.

Ron is a frequent contributor to Colorado Outdoors magazine, the official publication of Colorado Parks and Wildlife. He is also the author of two books: Fly Fishing Colorado's Backcountry and The Fishing Guide to 800 High Lakes in Colorado.
