GBTU Chapter Gathering at Public Lands with Guest Speaker Captain George Sylvestre, CCI

Join GBTU members and supporters in the Community Room at the Public Lands store at Shoppers World in Framingham on October 28 for a presentation by Captain George Sylvestre entitled "Trout Bum to Saltwater Slayer”.  This presentation is aimed at helping the trout angler get the most out of a saltwater trip by enhancing their existing skills with saltwater specific techniques. 

George is an FFI certified casting instructor and owner of Sylvestre Outdoors, LLC a fly casting instruction and fly fishing guide service.  From late Spring to early Fall he guides saltwater clients on the waters surrounding Cape Cod, ranging from the iconic Brewster Flats (either wading or on his flats skiff) to Monomoy Island and Nantucket Sound on his 20’ Jones Brothers center console.  From late Fall to early Spring his focus is on freshwater trips to Western Massachusetts and Connecticut.  George instructs casting students year round, is a frequent contributor to magazines such as On The Water and Tail magazine, and is the co-founder of the Cape Cod School of Saltwater Fly Fishing.
