Since 1983, the Art Flick Trout Unlimited Chapter has been a fully active coldwater conservation organization serving Suffolk County, New York. Our mission is guided by a clear operating strategy: to Protect trout habitat, Reconnect downstream reaches to enhance migrating fish populations, Restore river habitats that have been diminished, and Sustain these efforts by building a strong and engaged coldwater conservation community. This sweepstakes fundraiser will help our projects and programs.
 

This Doug Ernst handcrafted fly rod is born from a single culm of seasoned bamboo, hand-split and hand-planed with patience and precision. Each strip is shaped by eye and feel, assembled and varnished by a craftsman who understands that a fly rod is more than a tool — it is an extension of the angler. No two rods are ever exactly alike, because no two pieces of bamboo are ever the same.
