Experience the Mill River - the crown jewel of wild trout fishing in Fairfield County!
Join Mianus TU and friends for a fun winter day learning this amazing wild trout fishery. A Tailwater fishery, upstream dam releases keep the water warmer than most rivers in winter (and colder than most streams in summer) making it ideal trout habitat year round!
We will meet in the parking lot of the Covenant Church in Easton at 1 Sport Hill Road at 10 AM and spread out along the river from there.
Chapter fishing trips are fun, casual events for anglers of all ages and skill levels. If you need to borrow a fly rod or would like some hands on instruction, let us know! Our dedicated and knowledgeable volunteers are more than willing to help and share their experience.
Kids and beginners welcome - you don't have to be a member to participate!
