Fishing Turner Falls with your Central Plains Trout Unlimited Chapter 664

When:9:00 am - Lunch  Saturday, Jan. 31st Chapter fishing outing with a 1:00 pm lunch provided by the Central Plains Chapter of TU. (You may arrive earlier and stay as long as you want).

Who and Fees: Members with current TU membership associated with TU Chapter 664 Central Plains Chapter will enter the park and fish for free. As a special perk the park is offering NO FEE for children 15 and under to enter the park and also fish for NO FEE!!! All other park entries will be $25 plus tax. 

Where: Turner Falls home of Oklahoma's largest waterfall is located off of I-35 South of Davis, OK.  Our lunch and chapter gathering will be at the main Waterfall Pool near the old bathhouse at 1:00. Remember the chapter is furnishing lunch for attendees.

Fishing Locations: Fishing at the 77' Waterfall Pool, the Blue Hole Pool, and the upper section of Honey Creek are area you will want to seek out for trout. These areas can be located on the park map you will likely receive at the entry gate.

Fishing Gear: Bring your own equipment, flies, and waders/boots. (Waders are recommended but there is limited bank fishing at some locations.) As always dress in layers as you well know IT IS OKLAHOMA!

Needs: Restrooms of the portable type are available as well as a restroom near the entry gate.
