Link up with friends and fellow anglers from the Mianus Chapter for some fun striped bass fishing on Long Island Sound!
Fishing Friday's are fun, casual evening trips designed to get you on the water! These events are perfect for anglers of all ages and skill levels. If you've never given striper fishing a shot, now is the time! We've got plenty of 8/9 wt outfits for you to borrow. Just let us know if you need gear! There will be several knowledgeable Mianus TU volunteers there to provide some assistance.
When fishing Fairfield's Penfield Reef, timing the tides is extremely important. We've got a great sunset low tide allowing us to fish into the dark!
We'll meet at Veterans Park at 909 Reef Road in Fairfield at 6:00 PM to rig up and head down to the reef. If you want to get there earlier and find closer on street parking, feel free! We'll see you out there.
