Join us Friday, July 30th at 5 PM for the latest installment of Fishing Friday! This week, we will be heading to the Muscoot River below the Amawalk Reservoir in Katonah, NY. A part of the greater croton watershed, the Muscoot river is a wild trout stream that stays cool through the summer due to bottom releases at the reservoir. We will meet at the Wood Street bridge crossing on the Muscoot River at 5 PM, which is off Route 35.
Fishing Friday is a fun, casual fishing outing designed for anglers of all skill levels. Come meet likeminded anglers and learn tips, tricks, and new spots from knowledgable TU volunteers. Families and beginners welcome! If you need a rod or instruction, let us know! Our volunteers are more than glad to help out.
REMINDER: To fish the Muscoot River you will need a NY fishing license and a free NYC conservation land permit.
