Help us restore a healthy riparian buffer along the Rippowam in Stamford!
Join us for a series of volunteer workdays to remove non-native species ahead of a large-scale Earth Day planting project at the Finch Flood Plain in Stamford. Restoration of the Finch Flood Plain presents a fantastic opportunity to create a robust community forest near downtown Stamford, help filter and reduce storm water runoff and add important habitat for fish and all kids of different wildlife.
Join us at 10 am at the Buckingham Drive Access and we'll get started from there! We'll provide all the tools and equipment you need.
Funding provided by the USDA, Forest Service administered by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) and supported by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law
