February WestSlope Chapter Member Meeting

Join us for an evening with Forest Service Regional Hydrologist Andy Efta as he takes us beneath the surface to explore the connections between forests, wildfire, roads, land management, and the health of Montana’s streams and watersheds.

Andy will share insights into how changes on the landscape can influence water quality, streamflow, sediment, temperature, and aquatic habitat, and what those changes mean for Montana’s cold-water fisheries. We’ll explore the challenges facing our watersheds, the role of land management in protecting healthy streams, and the importance of maintaining resilient landscapes for the fish and communities that depend on them.
