Any women or girls interested in learning how to fly fish are invited to attend a free class provided by the Division of Wildlife, partnering with Ohio Women on the Fly and Trout Unlimited (Mad River Chapter) on Sunday, March 30, from 1 PM - 3 PM at the Whetstone Park Pond (4015 Olentangy Blvd., Columbus, 43214).
The instructors will cover various topics including how to put together a fly rod, how to cast, and participants will get time to fish the pond. All equipment will be provided including fly rods, flies and nets. Spaces are limited and registration is required (see ticket link above)
