Why do some anglers pull fish from a pool where another just spent hours without catching a thing?
How can you present a fly upstream, but have it drift as smoothly as a downstream presentation?
Join Trout Unlimited and Antoine Bissieux, The French Fly Fisherman, for a fun, informative and FREE streamside talk and demonstration of Euro-style tactics on Saturday, Sept. 17, at 9 a.m. at Riverbend Park in Beacon Falls, CT. The park is right off Route 8 and easy to get to, with plenty of room to park and join in the demonstration.
Antoine will cover both basic techniques as well as advanced line management skills to ensure anglers of all skill levels walk away with new knowledge to take with them on the water.

The event is hosted by Trout Unlimited and open to all, whether you are a member or not. Families are welcome, as are beginner anglers.
While you can watch the demonstration from the streambank, all participants are encouraged to wear boots, water shoes or even waders. Anglers may bring their own rods, but are asked to fish before or after the demonstration.
