Join us on Monday evening for an online training on Environmental DNA! 
 
Thanks to an Embrace a Stream Grant from Trout Unlimited, the Mianus Chapter is going to be undertaking a large scale environmental DNA assessment project to identify unknown wild trout populations on several headwater streams located on the CT / NY border. 
 
eDNA technology is extremely easy to use and will help us collect critical data on wild trout populations right in our backyard. This information will allow us to prioritize future restoration projects and advocate for enhanced regulatory protection for our cold water resources.
