Please consider helping GBTU with a donation to our Embrace A Stream Challenge.  Each donation will help GBTU preserve and restore the rivers and streams of the Neponset River watershed that make up our home waters.

In September 2023 we were awarded a grant of $9,878 for our proposed Embrace A Stream project  “Urban and Suburban Threats to Trout: Lessons from the Northeast”.    In our proposal, we committed to a GBTU match of $10,080 and 704 volunteer hours.  Starting in February 2024, this project aims to assess the impact of high-temperature stormwater runoff on the physical and chemical properties of streams, particularly its effects on stream organisms.
