TU is seeking volunteers to help with electrofishing on Mill Creek Meadow Spring Creek on Friday, October 21st, and Saturday, October 22nd. Help is needed clearing brush from the channel to facilitate the electrofishing, netting fish, and weighing and measuring fish. The purpose of this effort is to remove brook trout, a primary threat to native Yellowstone cutthroat trout, from the spring creek (read more here). Volunteers will need waders, polarized sunglasses (if possible), water, lunch, and clothing to be outside all day.
