Barrier Assessment Training (BAT) for the Eastside
Greetings to TU Members on the Eastside. Spring is coming and so is BAT training for the Eastside in Ellensburg. Erin Eaton, TU staff member, and all-around smart person will be leading a BAT training on April 23rd and 24th. The training on the 23rd will be virtual from 1 to 4pm. If you can't make it, you can watch the training on our YouTube channel. The training on the 24th will be in person in Robinson Canyon in Ellensburg.

This consists of two trainings that are required to join the WA Council of Trout Unlimited's Barrier Assessment Team (BAT).
  • April 23rd from 1-4PM via Google Meets Video Conference
  • April 24th from 9AM-4PM in person at Robinson Canyon in Ellensburg. Meeting at 47.01439790352605, -120.71081591195248
Attendance at both trainings is required. You can attend another locations training if need be. Contact the Volunteer Barrier Assessment Team Coordinator, Nick Ulacia, at nicholas@washingtontu.org with any questions you might have.

What to bring: 
  • Preferably waders, but high rubber boots are acceptable
  • Lunch and water
  • Dress for the weather, bring extra layers in case you get cold
Once signed up, further information will be sent with specific locations to meet and the Google Meets Video Conferencing link.
