As part of Earth Day celebration, we at Candlewood Valley Trout Unlimited will be hosting a stream cleanup on our local waters of the Pootatuck River and Deep Brook.
Please come join us on Saturday, April 23rd as we celebrate Earth Day the right way, picking up trash and keeping the rivers that we love clean and healthy!
We welcome kids and families, a great event to bring the entire family or friends. We will pick up trash from 8:30am to noon, then you're free to go fish and explore these local waters.
Please bring gloves, wear boots, and work clothes that you are happy to get wet and dirty. CVTU leadership will provide water, bug spray, garbage bags and tools.
Our meeting time is 8:30am in the back parking lot behind Cover Two Sports Café, 100 Church Hill Road, Sandy Hook, CT 06482.
