Dill Creek CommunityTree Planting Event (Rensselaer County, NY)

What better way to close out the month of April than to plant some trees along a beloved little stream in Rensselaer County? Local anglers and community volunteers will join up with event coordinators from Home Waters TU Chapter and Rensselaer Plateau Alliance . Tree plantings are great ways to engage the entire family - so bring out your kids and grandkids and help teach them the importance of working together as a community to care for and recover our rivers and streams. After planting is completed, folks will likely take to the river in the hopes of finding some rising fish to thank them for their efforts!

*Location is the Dill Creek Community Forest, near the intersection of Rt. 22 and Dill Brook Road. Coordinates: 42°46'09.1"N 73°20'40.0"W
