Join Trout Unlimited, Connetquot River State Park Preserve, Friends of Connetquot and other partners for a fun, family-friendly evening of fly fishing events and activities in the park followed by a special screening of the Fly Fishing Film Tour under the stars! (MOVIE CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER)
The evening starts at 5 p.m. with fun, family-friendly activities - ALL FREE FOR ANYONE TO ATTEND! (State park parking fee of $8 applies from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
Join us to learn:
- How to cast a fly rod
- How to tie a fly
- How to fish for trout
- What creepy, crawly and cute insects live in the Connetquot River
- And much more!
The event will have packaged snacks, soft drinks and water and merchandise for sale as well as an opportunity to learn about how you can join Trout Unlimited, Friends of Connetquot and other local nonprofits in helping care for and restore Long Island's rivers and streams!
