Colorado TU is hosting a free community reception featuring a distinguished panel that will share updates on key Colorado River issues, including Colorado Compact issues, Shoshone water rights, and aquatic nuisance species. The evening will have a conversational feel and include the chance for questions and engagement with the audience. The panel will be moderated by Trout Unlimited Colorado State Director Drew Peternell, with guest speakers:
- Amy Moyer, Chief of Strategy, Colorado River District
- Amy Ostdiek, Section Chief, Interstate, Federal, and Water Information Section, Colorado Water Conservation Board
- Kendall Bakich, Area Biologist, Colorado Parks and Wildlife
Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be provided; cash bar will be available for drink purchases.
Reception opens at 6 pm; program begins at 7 pm.
