Clear Creek Tree Planting - Volunteers Needed!

Join us to plant trees along Clear Creek to improve water quality on our local river!

 

The West Denver Chapter of Trout Unlimited, in partnership with the City of Wheat Ridge, is supporting a project to improve the health of Clear Creek by planting a riparian buffer along the river and around the lakes adjacent to the river and trail. 

 

Volunteers can stop by for an hour, just to plant one tree, or to stay the entire time and help us get the job done. Lunch will be provided after the planting and all tools and gloves will be available as well. Bring friends and family members for a fun morning out working with like-minded community members to care for our local river!

 

Thanks to Ross Reels and Coors, Trout Unlimited is working to restore rivers across the Rocky Mountains! This planting project is funded by the Trout Unlimited Embrace A Stream program, with a special donation of proceeds from limited edition Coors Banquet fly fishing reels made by Mayfly Outdoors, owners of Ross Reels.
