Central Plains Chapter Meeting with Guest Speaker Levi Poe

Join us at JD Adams Fly shop in Oklahoma City for our chapter meeting. This meeting is free and open to all whether you're a member or not!  Feel free to bring friends, colleagues, and family members.Tickets are free and are to help us know how many participants to expect. 

Doors open at 6:00 p.m.with the chapter meeting beginning at 6:30 sharing reports of recent events and what events are upcoming for the chapter. The presentations typically start at around 7:00 p.m. following brief remarks from Nate Satterelli our chapter president. This month’s speaker is Levi Poe who is a board member on the Central Plains Chapter of TU. Levi was previously the secretary of the local chapter and is currently serving as National Leadership Council (NLC) Representative for state. 

The topic of this month’s program is the Wyoming Cutt-Slam.

The Wyoming Cutt-Slam is one of the West’s ultimate native trout challenges. The mission is simple… catch all four of Wyoming’s native cutthroat trout: Yellowstone, Snake River, Bonneville, and Colorado River cutthroat.

Sounds straightforward — but these fish live in separate watersheds across Wyoming, often in remote and beautiful backcountry. Completing the slam, especially in a single trip, takes planning, travel, and determination.
