Join us at the Waynesville Recreation Center, 550 Vance Street in Waynesville for our October Chapter gathering!

Our October meeting will feature a talk by local fishing legend Dick Sellers on "Fishing in the Park". Dick is a veteran Great Smoky Mountains National Park volunteer and serious blue lines angler. He will touch on fishing on both sides of the Park and a bit on Park fishing history. He may just bring a fishing buddy or two to tell us about the legendary trout grand slam, including one trout trifecta from a single pool of an unnamed stream. "We won't be giving away any secrets" Dick says, "but it's a good time to be talking about wild trout and there's nothing like wild trout."

Chapter meetings are free and open to all whether you're a member of Trout Unlimited or not! Feel free to bring friends, colleagues, and family members. Meetings start at 6 p.m. with chapter updates, networking and fishing advice. These meetings are great opportunities to meet fellow anglers and conservationists, as well as learn a thing or two about local fishing opportunities and exciting projects we're working on!
