Ron Lasko sees Cape Cod as a world class flyfishing center for trout and striped bass. His presentation will focus on flyfishing for trout in the Cape's lakes, ponds and streams, as well as flyfishing the Cape's estuaries for striped bass. He will review a wide variety of tactics and equipment and will describe his experiences studying and reporting on the Cape's water quality challenges.
Ron has flyfished for trout and salmon from Canada to Georgia. He is the author of A Tale of Two Rivers, and his work has been published in Trout magazine, The AMFF Fly Fishing Journal and Cape Cod and the Islands magazine. He considers himself blessed to have washed ashore on Cape Cod in 1984 and has enjoyed a life of flyfishing on the Cape's half dozen trout streams, 30 trout lakes and 48 striped bass estuaries.
Pizza and drinks will be available for all attendees. We ask everyone to register so we can get a head count.
